Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest branch of engineering field which gives solution to various realistic problems and hence is considered as the Evergreen branch. Department is facilitated with different labs namely Thermal Lab, Metallurgy Lab, CAD Lab, Theory of Machine Lab, Engineering Design Lab etc. Department is also facilitated with Mechanical Workshop having Machine Shops, Carpentry Shop etc. for the development of creativity as well as technical skills in students for their professional growth. The teaching learning process is enhanced by the use of student centric policies and under the guidance of well trained, enthusiastic, self-motivated faculties and staff members.

Labs

Computer Aided Design (CAD) Lab

We have 25 Computers with latest configuration i.eIntel Pentium Core i3, 4 GB Ram, 500 GB hard Disk with Licensed Window OS .

We have various designing software such as Creo , AutoCAD etc

Fluid Mechanics and Hydraulics Machinery Lab

This Lab consists various types of hydraulic machines which enables students to learn and understand hydraulics phenomena.

Thermal Lab

This Lab consists various mechanical models of various types of boilers , IC Engine , Compressor Test Rig etc which enables students to learn and understand concept and phenomena of Thermodynamics.

Theory Of Machine Lab

It consists of different types of cams , followers , various mechanism such assingle slider crank mechanism , double slider crank mechanism , kinematic chains etc which enables students to study of relative motion between the various parts of a machine, and forces which act on them.

Metrology and Instrumentation Lab

This lab consist various instruments such as Vernier Calipers , Depth Gauges , Sine Bar and other gauges. Metrology and Instrumentation is concerned with the application of measurement to manufacturing and other processes and their use in society, ensuring the suitability of measuring instruments , their calibration and quality control.

Engineering Design Lab

An engineering drawing, a type of technical drawing, is used to fully and clearly define requirements for engineered items. We are having Engineering Drawing lab with all the required facilities.

Industrial Engineering Lab

This lab consists various equipment such as stop watch and other important instruments which enables students to learn concept and phenomena of industrial engineering & work to eliminate waste of time, money, materials, man-hours, machine time, energy and other resources that do not generate value.

Material Science And Metallurgy Lab

Our lab equipped with various instruments such as muffle furnace, buffing machine , hardness tester , metallurgical microscope etc which enables students to gain knowledge regarding metallurgy.

Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) Lab

This lab consists various machines such as CNC lathe machine and CNC mill trainer machine which enables student to gain practical knowledge of advance manufacturing process.
